Rated 1 out of 5 by from Meh I bought these a few months ago. I was expecting a decent headset. What I got was a "meh" headset that I now have issues with. Since I purchased these, I have people complaining that the quality of my mic drops randomly, or the volume drops randomly on my mic. I've tried on different games, different computers, even tried mobile, and still have the issue. The sound quality coming through isn't the best, either. It has so much so turned me off of this brand, and I will probably run these over with my car when I buy a new pair.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from It's just a plain old headset... I received these for Christmas to replace my Turtle Beach Shadow headset which had cracked just above the earmuffs. I had been given these by a family member because they had steel bracings where my old ones cracked, which is entirely correct. What they DIDN'T have was everything else I liked about my old headset. They didn't have a attachment volume adjuster so that could control the various default audio options (mic sensitivity, mute/unmute, volume, chat volume, etc.). They didn't have voice feedback so I couldn't hear how loud my mic was and how loud I was being (to be courteous to those around me). They didn't have an external input for a phone so I could have my phone synced in if I wanted. It was just your standard headset (a mic and 2 speakers) that Microsoft could've made just with cushier earmuffs. These weren't even very comfortable compared to my old headset! I could always feel I was wearing them and my head kept getting hot from them insolating heat. Worst of all these were $80 compared to my old set that were only $40! I'm going to return these to get some other set that at least has what my old set has and looking now it'll probably be cheaper.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good for the money. Overall, the product is good, the only problem I have is that if I yell or am too loud, the mic will start popping and cut me out, so I have no idea what is up with that. Could be cables or something, I honestly have no idea but it is really annoying.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Reminds me of how headphones use to be made. I bought this on a whim while I was looking for a headset for my new Xbox One. I was originally trying to decide between the microsoft offering or the Xone from turtle beach. I saw this hanging in the store and after a brief discussion with the clerk, I purchased it. I got It home and hooked it up. I put them on and I instantly slid back into time. My father used to have a pair of headphones that were solid, comfortable and great sounding, these reminded me of those old ears. These go fully over the ear. There is memory foam in the padding so they can get warm, but It didn't bother me in the least. The sound was great, high highs and very low lows. The construction seems quite solid, instead of depending on plastic these use aluminum in the build and definitely seem more robust. The mic is detachable, I would not bother with it. I have seen reviews where this mic can be fragile. Plug it in and leave it in. Don't mess with it. It also has Mic Monitoring, at least on the xbox One. Never had it before, don't think i could do without it now. Braided cable to the controller. It comes with everything you need to use it with your Xbox one, PS4, and PC! It does it all. This is a no frills set of headphones. They work great, they sound great, and I forget I have them on except for the solid build of them sitting on my noggin. No case comes with them, but even without, this is probably one of the best deals on headphones you can get. FYI...HyperX is a Kingston company, so they have been into computers for a long long time. Would highly recommend.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from "THE" Best Gaming Headset on the Market Out of all the headsets I own and/or have tried (Steelseries, Polk 4 Shot, TurleBeach, Tritton, and Atros) The HyperX Cloud headsets are the best. Comfortable for hours of gaming, durable, and the sound they produce are great! For less than 1/3 of the price from some of the competition, this is not only the best deal, but a steal! I would expect these to cost at least $174.99 ~ $200. It may not say compatible with Xbox One on the box, but they are! If you're thinking about getting the Cloud II, the ONLY difference is the USB 7.1 build in sound card and a single 3.5mm cable from the headset as opposed to (2) (mic/headphones)
