DESCRIPTION

The Pokémon GO Plus accessory can be used with any compatible smart phone that has the Pokémon GO application installed. After the Pokémon GO Plus is paired via Bluetooth LE and a brief setup process is completed, players can encounter and catch Pokémon like never before. When the smart phone with Pokémon Go and the paired Pokémon GO Plus accessory are within range of each other, both will begin to vibrate when a Pokémon is close by. With the convenience of not having to look at your smart phone, simply press the button on the Pokémon GO Plus to attempt to catch a Pokémon while you are out and about.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Amazing I love the go plus, it makes it so convenient when battling gyms and pokemon show up. I don't have to wait until after I finish battling to catch the pokemon or get the pokestop. It took some time getting it consistently connected to my phone but once I got it it connects instantly now. This was totally with the 2 hour-long drive around town for this.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Limited application The device is only useful if you are in a car ie as a passenger, as it misses Pokemon clusters. If you are walking you might only get 2 out of a group of 5. Also, because you don't see what you are catching, you miss out on choosing a desired Pokemon from a group. The catch time is too slow for group Pokemon sightings.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Extremely overpriced. Poor product for the price. niantic messed up with there extremely low speed limit which really ruins the game. 35$ for a pokemon Fitbit. I don't think so.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Wonderful for saving battery I bought this when my local Gamestop got a few in, and I've used it everyday since. It has gotten a couple little scratches on it, but it holds up excellenly well, and if you aren't using a backpack for storage like I do, i doubt it will get scratches as quickly. I used to drop down to ~15% battery every hour or two I used Pokemon Go, now I have to be using it for roughly 4 hours to get it to ~30% before I have the chance to charge it again. I also love that now, I can use other apps while catching Pokemon or getting pokestops. The wristband seems a bit cheaply done, but it gets the job done and goes a lot of colors without being too out of place. Also, you can put the excess band in the little hook thing to try to get it from swinging around.(extra helpful for keeping it on if you have small wrists like me!) I really recommend this for people who often walk in malls or ride, as a passenger, in cars. It catches some of the Pokemon you don't see on screen when you're on a fast road!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from I suppose it's worth it. I don't know why the distance can't be tracked without this. But the ability to get pokestops and pokemon when you wouldn't normally be able to is great, even if it is limited with the type of ball you can throw. Not rechargeable, which kind of sucks. You need to replace the battery manually, every other month or so with normal use. If you play 30 hrs a week you may need to replace battery monthly.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Save your money, buy other Pokemon products instea Save your money. This might have been a good tool to have but thanks to Niantic's decision to speed limit everything in the game there is completely no point in having the plus. Unless you don't have winter and can always walk in a city, you might as well spend the money towards a different Pokemon game.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Overall-awesome! The Plus device allows me to lift my head up, unless I'm hunting something special, and enjoy this wonderful world of ours. The vibration alerts are clear and the colored lights are fun. Slight problem when stop playing Go for a while and the device disconnects. Cannot just reconnect. Need to restart Go. Not a huge problem.
