Rated 4 out of 5 by from Realistic/Tactical First person Shooter Well it NO Arma III but this is the MOST realistic military simulator you will get on the xbox 360 or ps3 believe me I did my research. Over all good game...

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Loved it Despite many negative reviews, I thoroughly enjoyed this game. It is one of the only games on console similar to older Operation Flashpoints and Arma. It may appear boring and pointless to some who enjoy CoD over more hardcore games that include more realism than your average shooter.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Horrible Game This game suck, the graphics are horrible, gameplay etc. I do not recommend getting this game. The only thing good about this game is that front cover picture. That's the only reason why I got it.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Realistic, yes... Fun, no... If you are looking for a good realistic game, this is it. But realism is not all firefights and explosions. The pluses in this game +Realistic The negatives -The game creators tried too hard to be funny. The captain uses all sorts of vulgar metaphors that maybe in low doses could be funny. But when every other sentence out of his mouth is a "funny" metaphor, it looses its lasting appeal quick. Which is a shame cause he drones on and on and on and on... You may think this isn't a big deal, but I don't think you appreciate the amount of time they make you sit next to the captain. -Which brings to the next point, whilst you are listening to the captain drone on and on, you are stuck in a LONG car ride. Instead of finishing a mission or objective and cutting to the next area, the game has you hop in a Humvee an sit there for literally around 5 minutes with nothing to do but listen to the captain attempt to be funny. Literally nothing, you can look around, but cannot use any weapons or items. -Next is the amount of ground you cover to the enemies in it ratio. You spend what seems like 4 minutes walking in a direction, just to get in a firefight with 2 people which lasts forever because you cannot see the enemies. -The enemies love to hide in 2 areas, either A) In an area so dark you cant figure out where they are, or B) On a ridge with the sun behind them so you spend magazines trying to take out a guy who a team mate ends up getting. I often found myself walking minutes away from the game teammates and my online friends because I was trying to get a better vantage point to shoot the enemies. If you are using an M249, you are going to spend a lot of time breaking off from the group so you can get in an effective range. -The controls seem sluggish, the look sensitivity set to 10 still seems like a Halo's sensitivity of 2. The crouch and sprint features also appear sluggish and the character wont crouch when you want him to and will not sprint when you want him to. Only reason I bought this game was because a friend wanted a new game to play. I would return it tomorrow if it wasn't for him wanting to give it another shot. I was over it within 30 minutes and after 4 hours of it, my opinion on it was the same. I would not recommend this. Again, Pros: realistic. Cons: Annoying captain, Ratio of combat to walking/riding is terrible, Bad enemy spawn positioning, Sluggish controls.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Not an Enjoyable Game to Play The AI is stupid and game play is frustrating! For example(s): you tell your team to Hold Position and they continually roam around. And during battles they would 'roam around' into the firing line and get killed. Then when attempting to heal teammates they would not stay still long enough to finish so you had to chase after them. Then sometimes when teammates entered into a house, they would stay there, no matter what commands you gave them. They would not move! Then when any one of your team were killed and you had to get back on the Humvee for the next part you would just sit there, getting sworn at, waiting from them (the killed teammate) to get on, which doesn't happen so you would have to replay the mission or start over them the last check point and make sure no one dies. And Finally, there was too much swearing. Some swearing would have been acceptable, but not on every cut screen and every other word or when giving your team commands. It was quite annoying!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Excellent Game! I have had this game for about a week now and all I can say is that it is fantastic. I love working in a squad and the realistic combat. This game is a simulator. It is not for those who play call of duty and expect to be able to run and gun. This Game requires the use of tactics!!! At first it may be tough, but as you get better, the game gets better as well. This game is better than the first! And on top of that, its only $17.99. Try it! and if you dont like it just take it back!!!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Pretty nice game (NOT FOR COD PLAYERS) This is one of, if not, my favorite shooter. It's not for people who like CoD,it's tactically based and if you try to use CoD tactics (running around as a lone wolf and no scoping people) you'd die in an instant, The storyline is great and so are graphics. Sometimes it gets boring as missions are often around an hour long and much of that time is riding around in the back of a humvee or walking around the landscape searching for enemies. Firefights are realistic; you can die with a single bullet and get injured which affects your combat effectiveness. One major thing for me is that snipers actually have a decent role. In other games, you can shoot somebody from across the map with a pistol. But not in this one, so the sniper actually does count if you want to take out enemies from long distances. Great play for people who enjoy a realistic, tactical game.
