Rated 5 out of 5 by from One of the greatest releases in history! Simply put one of the best games ever made. I mean if you're a Star Wars fan then you definetly need to try battlefront as it's probably the best Star Wars game ever made behind Knights of The Old Republic 1.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best childhood memories This was my first shooter on the PS2 in 2004 and my favorite still. Had awesome childhood memories playing this with my friends and family and kicking the crud out of them. This games campaign is ok and enjoyable but what is really replayable to me is the multiplayer, instant action, and galactic conquest. The graphics are ok but the gameplay is far from ok and enjoyable. In my opinion I'd pick this game up before the second one any day. Simply because the maps are memorable,(my favorite map being Kashyyyk Docks) it's an original and fighting the OP jedi and sith was really fun and challenging for me. Overall I had a great time playing this game for this long and it is still enjoyable now.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Fantastic game for everyone! This game has a lot of strategy involved; you give commands to your squad/teammates and capture "Command Posts" that act as re-spawn points and help you and your team control the battlefield. This game is meant for everyone; it has 3 difficulties that can be changed in the menu: easy, medium, and hard. My 6 year old brother does easy mode and has lots of fun. I on the other hand however, play on hard mode which involves skill and requires you to give orders to your teammates in order to successfully control the battlefield and win. the game is played in third person(for those who don't know what 3rd person is its a camera angle in which you can see yourself from the knees up). The games are based on lives (or tickets for those who are Battlefield fans). The game ends when a team runs out of tickets or if one team has all command posts captured. In the beginning of the game you choose which side you want to be on; CIS, Republic, ect.The graphics are impressive considering how old this game is. it runs at 420p and surprisingly has no bugs or major issues. I highly recommend this game to everyone who enjoys a challenge and strategic game play... or even a little kid who just likes to mess around. The only downside to this game however is the dying animations, as the characters' bodies twirls and spins awkwardly... but that doesn't change or affect the game play in any way, and is actually funny.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from A true great I'll keep this short and simple this game is one of the best games ever made and truly defined a generation shooters to come. I would definitely recommend to anyone, but I mean come on who hasn't played this game and who doesn't think it's gold. I mean that's like saying who hasn't watched an episode of sponge bob.
