Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great game! This game is pretty great and very fun to play, though it is very different from the standard Zelda formula, it's still lots of fun. I wouldn't recommend this game to a casual player though, the game can be extremely hard, especially towards the end. They implemented a lives system and an exp system which was sort of unique. If you lost all your lives you would lose all your unused exp but retain the same level, so I would advise to level up as soon as possible when you get the certain exp. The sound and the graphics were the best at the time, the palace theme is still one of my favorite Zelda songs. Once you beat the game, they give you a NewGame+ which is quite fun if you want to play through it again and just beat the early bosses in a pinch. I would recommend this game to a hardcore Zelda fan anyday, thanks for reading my brief review. *Review based off of NES version.*

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Eh. The first to me was way way better . this one is just so-so the graphics well ... I can't say are bad since they're old but this one is newer than the first but not as good I liked the style of the first one more where you saw wut wuz where this one to me is to close up and I honestly don't like the fighting style either all that much the game though is a classic so I hav to respect it ... : |

Rated 5 out of 5 by from WOW WO, this is a great game. I wasn't a fan of the first Zelda game, but I just love this game. However people didn't really like this game because it didn't stick to the classic formal. This game you can level Link up. Get him items, powerups, and magic. Help towns, so you can spells. I also love the fighting style. The enimeies are cool too! The music is great. I just love this game.
