Rated 3 out of 5 by from Great price just 2 small 4 me Ok the Nintendo 2ds will get the job done also it's only 79.99 But!! For people like myself who have vision problems the screens will be way to small to be able to play comfortably plus he is now in heaven with all his love ones later that week he did apologize to everyone saying they did ithe cuz they were afraid sooooooo badly

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Works great, Great Price, Scratches... I got this on-sale for 49.99. Everything works wonderfully and it's a waaayyy better deal than buying a 3ds. That said, It has surface scratches all over the plastic and there is a deep scratch (deep) on the c-stick. The charging port is bent upwards and the stylus it came with is hot pink. No screen protectors either. Normally, I would be pretty upset over all this but it seems to be working just fine and it was a really good price. (Premium Refurbished) should probably mean Premium but apparently it does not.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Buttons not working. Bought this item on 12/30/14. Brought it home opened it up and immediately the products top screen came off from peeling the thin plastic screen cover, just bad epoxy I guess? When I went to test if it loaded games I put in an old DS game, it turns out that neither the start/select buttons work.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Works just as good if not better than 3ds I have had this system for about a year and it has both cons and pros. But even with the cons the pros overlap the cons, if you have ever held a 3ds you would know for the more older audiences like 13-18 the pinky and the ring fingers are not too comfortable but with 2ds they are a lot easier to play with for a longer period of time. Right it doesn't fold but neither did my gameboy and both are in great condition. It only has one speaker but it is loud and clear, I don't really notice the difference and finally it doesn't go 3D which doesn't bother me at all since the 3D is really painful to my eye even with my 3ds I never turn on the 3D effect it just bothers me. Thanks for reading, Hope this helps. :D

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Really good if you don't use the 3D feature I would highly recommend getting this DS over the 3DS if u don't care much for the 3D feature. fits well in my hands and looks great.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great System Those Who Are Younger or on a Budget First off, I don't know what's up with all the down-talking of the 2DS. Personally, I play the 3DS XL with my giant hands and love the 3D feature. However, my little brother can't use 3D and most of my friends don't use it either. For games like Animal Crossing or Pokemon X/Y where 3D isn't a very essential part of the game, this 2DS is perfect. The grip is deceptively comfortable and easy to play on regardless of hand size. The only downside is that it cannot close so it can't be safely put in your pocket. But I remember when I had a Gameboy Color and those didn't close either. You got a case for it or just were careful with it. Same deal here. Lastly, for anyone who's confused: the DS and DS Lite are the same thing, the latter is smaller, both play Gameboy Advance games. The DSi and DSi XL are the same thing, the latter is bigger, neither play Gameboy Advance games but both allow downloadable purchases of DSiWare and have external cameras. All four are old systems and play largely the same games with the exception of games that require the GBA slot (like Guitar Hero) or need the DSi camera. The 3DS, 3DS XL, and 2DS are all the same thing. The 3DS is the standard model, the XL is bigger, and the 2DS is smaller and significantly less expensive without stereoscopic 3D (graphics are still in 3D, they just won't appear like they would when wearing 3D glasses at the theater, in true 3D). Now, watch out as a new model of 3DS is coming out called "New 3DS". This will be an enhanced 3DS like the DSi was for DS. The "New 3DS" will be able to run more graphics-intensive games, have a better 3D viewing angle, and customizable external skins. Some games will only work on "New 3DS". Please don't get them confused! (P.S. Nintendo needs to name their stuff more clearly, huh?)

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Totally worth it First of all, most people like to complain about there not being a 3D feature, it is called the 2DS for a reason. I can honestly say I love my 2DS, it does everything the 3DS does. I bought this because I am cheap and thought this was a great buy. After having this for almost a year, I still do not regret it. I can enjoy my new 3DS games, in a 2D fashion, without the extra strain on my eyes. It is what you make it, and I make my 2DS the slayer of the 3DS. In my opinion, it looks better and is way more fitting to my hands. Do yourself a favor and buy this!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from The biggest fail Nintendo made The reason why you shouldn't get a 2ds is that people say that it's for people who cannot afford a 3ds, they are 100% wrong there. The 2ds is a waaay too low of a downgrade of a 3ds. The 2ds is not portable, they removed the 3ds feature, and worst of all, they got rid of a speaker. Everyone at school says that the 2ds is much better than the 3ds. THAT is wrong.
