A mysterious place that is shaped like a star, Kalos is a region where players will encounter beautiful forests, thriving cities, and many neverbeforeseen Pokémon. The central city of this breathtaking region is Lumiose City, a metropolis featuring a tower that is set to become an iconic structure in Pokémon X and Pokémon Y.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Nice I am not quite sure how I was convinced to play this game. I did not regret the experience though, but sadly I did beat the full story so quickly I am not sure as of what to do now. I have collected just about every creature in this game... I could not find a Magickarp though. (Apologies if I had spelled anything wrong.) It's certainly a good time waster.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Received broken game I just recently bought this game along with a 3DS XL for my BF & he received a game that had worn down plastic on the bottom of the card, so his 3DS XL couldn't read the game.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great game! Really love this game. Graphics upgrades from the previous editions of Pokemon games are great and the newly added features just add the what has always been an amazing game franchise. Highly recommended.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Pokemon X is Good, not great It was good, and brought a TON of new stuff and pokemon to the Pokemon world, but the game itself-it wasn't all that great.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Pokemon with OK Starters! I can't say in words how much I love this game. The great story, awesome gym leaders, and Great character design options there is not anyone I think would not like about pokemon x. The only downside is the starters. I have played through twice and I found myself picking Froakie both times. He/She is the only starter that has a cool looking evolution line. Finnekin is just normal looking and I feel it and its evolutions feel a lot like the Torchic line. Chespin is the least appealing out of them in terms of second and final evolutions, he has absolutely no appeal whatsoever. Other than the starters the legendary is great, but I am a little disappointed at the fact that dragonite is only available at the end of the game. I love the fact, however, that about 1/4 way through the game it goes back to its roots with you being able to pick a kanto starter (you can finally pick someone other that charizard, at least not the second time). In conclusion, I think that this game is great with lots of great story and character, but the placement and decision of the pokemon is a little disappointing. HOPE THIS HELPED MAKE YOUR DECISION

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Old vs. New? Choose new. I admittedly had my own doubts during the initial mention of this game in particular, due to the fact that I was more of an "old-school" gamer, and I refused to venture into Black/White 2- especially after White. However, I made a split-second decision and bought the other version of this game on the release date, and I do not regret it one bit. Eventually, I lost Y and was regifted X about a year later. Anyway, about the game: it is phenomenal. The gameplay is intriguing enough to capture your attention and actually enforce your desire to play it, simply because of the well-thought-out storyline. In addition to that, the graphics are purely amazing, though the 3D slider does indeed come in handy when playing the game late at night. Overall, this game is fantastic and I would recommend it over any other Pokemon game!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Amazing! I love it! Absolutely Amazing! I love how the fire start's final evolution is no loner fire-fighting!
