Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best 3ds game This game is probably my favorite Mario game ever. It's creative, new and inventive and I had a blast playing it for weeks.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from *Updated Review I've had the game for a little over a month now and I reviewed it for the first time about a month ago. The game is very good, don't get me wrong. However, upon playing a few other more difficult games after and getting deeper into my hobby for gaming, I would say that this game is relatively easy, maybe too easy for some people. The first time I played the game I beat it within a week, the second time I beat it within two days (and that is playing only maybe an hour or less at a time). The graphics are simply incredibly therefore a very lifelike gaming experience, but the actual gameplay to me is lacking. The only level I think is actually challenging is the very final boss fight (even then, it may only take a couple tries at most). Overall this is a great game, but compared to other games and even other mario games, the gameplay is lacking and many frequent gamers will be disappointed.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Fantastic I was so excited to buy this game and I was certainly not disappointed. I have been playing mario since I was a kid and this game lives up to the reputable mario name. It was challenging but gave many opportunities for novice players like myself to still complete each level. Definitely worth the money for just about any gamer up for a challenge but without the worry of wasting money on a game that is too difficult.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from It's good It's not the best Mario game, but it is great. You can do alot once you complete all the regular worlds.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Easy, Childish, Short I saw this game a while ago and i thought "I havent played this before", So i bought it, and it was a huge mistake. I wasted 30$. The game is really short, and you can finish it in a couple hours if you want to, the gameplay is easy and though it has creativity, it lacks fun. The game was kiddy and the childish feel took away the spark that Mario games have. Mario's voice is higher than ever and it gets annoying really quick. There are only 3 power-ups in the game, (not including the propeller block) and finding the star coins is irritating and repetitive. The sound quality is great, the graphics could have been a tad better though, as well as the stages in the game which are small and limited. Overall, this game sucks and is a waste of money

Rated 4 out of 5 by from It'sa Me Mario, In 3D! Super Mario 3D Land, is a wonderful Mario game, and one of it's most easy to get into. The gameplay is very fun and addicting, and the level design is much like Super Mario Galaxy, for the Wii. The game also takes advantage of the 3DS's, 3D slider, and gyroscope capabilities, to add some interesting game elements, like moving the telescope around, or even in the cutscenes and graphics, in which the graphics have much depth, although it's not for everyone. The game allows you to traverse 8 worlds (as always) to then beat Bowser, and save the helpless Princess Toadstool (known as Princess Peach in Japan iterations). And, after you've completed the 6-8 hour campaign, the 3DS's Streetpass capabilties, allow you to play little mystery box mini-games (which are playable in the campaign), in which you are challenged to beat your friends different times, completing the mini-game. What's even better is that you get to play as Luigi, which is a plus if you want to play as Mario's ghost sucking brother. You should get this game NOW, it is an AMAZING Mario game, and one of the BEST GAMES on the Nintendo 3DS.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from 3D Mario In your hand! This game is my favorite 3d mario game ever. The levels can be a little easy, but they do start to get a bit challenging [ at least for me . ] when you get to the later levels. I don't have any complaints. just a fun Mario game that is a must- buy for any 3ds owner.
