Los Santos: a sprawling sun-soaked metropolis full of self-help gurus, starlets and fading celebrities, once the envy of the Western world, now struggling to stay afloat in an era of economic uncertainty and cheap reality TV. Amidst the turmoil, three very different criminals plot their own chances of survival and success: Franklin, a former street gangster, now looking for real opportunities and serious money; Michael, a professional ex-con whose retirement is a lot less rosy than he hoped it would be; and Trevor, a violent maniac driven by the chance of a cheap high and the next big score. Running out of options, the crew risks everything in a series of daring and dangerous heists that could set them up for life.

Grand Theft Auto V is the largest and most ambitious game Rockstar Games has yet created, and takes full advantage of every ounce of processing power available in the current generation of consoles. In order to provide the best possible experience for such a massive and detailed world, the game will have installation requirements on the PlayStation®3 system.

Grand Theft Auto V ships on one disc and will install content as soon as you insert the game. The install is roughly 8GB, and players will be able to play as soon as the install is complete.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Damaged Disc Could not play the game since the disc is damaged. I think it would be important if you had quality control for pre-owned games. Bought the games at the MLB shop.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from GTA V could be "The Best Game of 2015" GTA V is ambitious, certainly with its multiplayer. However, I don't think "mastering" it is necessary. I think the real time sink, so to speak, is improving your rank and having more items accessible to you. The good thing about GTA V online is that if you encounter a random player who isn't playing nice, you can easily switch to a different session or create a friend/invite-only session. I think part of the fun of being online with this one is the random mayhem that occurs. When I first started playing I was in constant fear as another player approached me (their dot on the map). I would get into a defensive position and be ready for a gun fight. Many players will pass you by, some will try to kill you, others will see if you want to help create mayhem. The online experience is what you make of it. It's really shiny and overwhelming at first, but with a finite area to explore (even if it's BIG), you eventually get the hang of what there is to do. The free roam is there for random things like robbing stores, playing dress up, finding and modding a car, causing mischief and, of course, fighting other players. However, it's also a hub too. You can focus on missions, you can do custom matches with/against other players (like deathmatch or races). There is survival which is a lot of fun too. Eventually there will be heists (I haven't gone far enough in rank to know if it unlocks later or not, I just hear many people saying it's not there yet) which will be another layer of fun as players will work together to make big bucks. I really have found that the online portion is what you make of it. The map is large enough that you can do your own thing without having a rabid player pester you and constantly try to kill you. You could also jump from mission to mission if you wanted.
