Rated 3 out of 5 by from Good but overated This game is good but people are giving it too much love. You play as commander Shepard. The first thing I want to talk about is the fact that commander Shepard is no bad*ss and his ally's protect him the whole way through. Gameplay is like spec ops: the line and the graphics are all right I thought about giving this a 4 out of 10 but that just seemed like it was too much. 5 out of 10 was just right. You can romance different people so I made Shepard romance Miranda. You can choose both a male Shepard and a female Shepard or femshep for short. I would say it is worth checking out.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from One Of The Best RPGs Out There This game took my breath away. The story is very good and unique. The graphics looked fantastic. The gameplay, while not perfect, is much better than Mass Effect 1s. The great thing about this game is that your decisions actually do matter. Trying not to spoil anything, there is a mission at the end, where it is possible that some or all of your teammates will die, and will not be present in Mass Effect 3. Thankfully, most of my teammates survived, with only 2 dying. My only two things that I hate about this game is that most of the side missions are boring, and only take a few minutes to complete. Also, the upgrading system wasn't as interesting as Mass Effect 1s was. This game is amazing. I would recommend playing Mass Effect 1 first, but it is not completely needed. There will be a few references to the first game, but that is pretty much it. Get this if you love RPGs, shooters, and space games. This is a must have.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Loved it Mass Effect 2 is one of my personal Shooter RPG favorites on the Xbox 360. I enjoyed eveything there was to offer in this game. Engaging storyline, breath taking Sci-fi setting, really fun game battle mechanics and forming relationships with your crew members.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from A Mass Effect Junkie's review I think the title speaks for itself, but if you insist.Mass Effect 2 is an amazingly beautiful game.It pulls you into this mystifying world of adventure and galaxy exploration. For all you rpg fans, there's plenty of lore to collect and people to talk to,its mind-blowing.Plus the guns are tons of fun One of the biggest things to me is the characters. They feel so real. You'll find yourself mourning a character you lost in a battle. There are several romance options, but I wouldn't know I always go for Tali(she's awesome) Well, there's my two cents. Now if you want to experience this awesome syfy adventure, buy this awesome game,You won't regret it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great A friend of mine recommended the series to me, so I was going to buy the third one, but was short on cash. So when I got a bunch of gift cards to Gamestop for Christmas I got this and some other games, but this one was my favorite (so far). Space travel, character creation, script choices, despite the lack of a multiplayer I will definitely be playing this more than Borderlands 2 or maybe even more than Dishonored. Can't wait to play the third. The graphics are awesome for the year it came out, I'm sure the next installment will have improved on them though, sometimes the characters faces keep moving when the voices have stopped. Not too bad on the difficulties, playing it on Normal right now and still having a challenging time, especially when facing enemies with powers. This is definitely one of my future recommendations. It offers story, challenges, character depth, and a slight bit of sarcastic comedy. Plus the choices of being either a "paragon" (hero) or "renegade" (anti-hero) can change the game as well as offer new speech options. Totally get this game.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Hard to stop playing This game was well made. The story and plot was very intriguing along with great gameplay. The missions had clear, defined goals, so you knew what the objective was. It had a unique method of scanning planets for resources to be used to upgrade weapons and armor. The powers, like overload, and the ammo powers, like incendiary ammo, were awesome. With each kill you gain experience which will gain you levels, each level gives you points to distribute to powers, ammo powers or health and damage. it was a great game a highly recommend it.
