Rated 4 out of 5 by from It freezes after season 1 of dynasty mode. It slows down after dynasty mode.... It is great, but it freezes up. Coach mode updates..............

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Built to lose. Exaggerated physics This game is a step down from the previous versions of NCAA. The "real time physics" they added is greatly exaggerated. For example, a player runner half speed will completely knock a player off their feet when they hit and 320 lb defensive lineman will run down and tackle a scrambling QB who has 94 speed before he can throw it. It seems like the defense and receiver roles have been reversed as the defense always seems to find the ball in a split second and intercept it while the recever quits on the play and has no idea where the ball is. While when I am on defense it is rare to intercept the ball. Players drop wide open interceptions when. It feels like the CPU players all have 99 rating because it's impossible to tackle in the open field and once they get past you there is no catching them. Recruiting was hyped up to be much greater in this game than past... WRONG. You assign points to you recruits and hope for the best thats it. It feels as if the computer generates random scenarios for recruits. You see 5 star ATH's committing to one star schools while he has offers from every college in the game. One thing I do like about the game is the new coach skills, it helps with the terrible recruiting process. Also the commentary is quite broken and annoying. Phrases are repeated constantly and most of the time they don't even make sense with what happened in the game. For example, I will punt and then once I get the ball back on offense the commentator will say "We'll a fumble/ turnover really hurt this teams last drive" when no turnover ever happened.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from NCAA Football 14 This is amazing to play the quality of the game is terrific. Road to Glory option is awesome from the beginning of your Senior of High School and work your way up to star on a top notch college. The Dynasty mode is pretty legit playing on ESPN with Kirk Herbstreit and Brent Musburger are voicing the game and you get updates from Rece Davis. All in all if you like college games then you would love this.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from can play this all day Got this game a month ago and been playing only offline dynasty. I found the game frustrating at first until I figured it out. As said before defense is a joke. I used texas and was playing kansas and gave up over 300 yrds passing on varsity defense. Until ur coordinators are leveled up your offense and defense struggle. Recruiting is very easy once you figure it out. I put all my coach points into recruitment first as that seems more important than game management as of right away. The reason you gain and lose points on a week to week basis can be based on the recruits bonus points as sometimes it depends on conference prestige or coach prestige or even playing time. You cant just select all top recruits when u start ur dynasty until ur recruiting skills r leveled up and even then you need to target the right ones. If you try to figure it out and wanna put in the work to do it, it is an awesome game and the hype of the band playing on big drives and the rivalries r insane. Nothing like the red river game! It has nice animations and if you dont press x or a after each play it can run smoother. I like this game alot and highly recommend it to anyone who wants to play some college ball. I have not done road to glory or online so no comments for those but offline dynasty has given me 100 hrs of good gameplay so far.
