Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great graphics and gameplay I was pleased with this game overall but I was disappointed in how short the game was, I beat the game in about a day or two but other than being rather short the game was good

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Scary Fun A great new continuation to breathe in new life to a long loved series. I had high hopes for this game to be good and it has definitely succeeded with a new perspective.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Game of the Year and we just started I have to say, this game really lived up to the hype. The graphics were phenomenal, the gameplay felt like a classic Residents Evil game even if it was in first person. The monsters and bosses also felt like classic RE monsters, and the horror was VERY awesome, I got the crāp scared out of me even when I wasn't wearing the PSVR headset. The only problem I have with this is the fact that whenever people talk their mouths don't match their words, I'm guessing because the English is dubbed over Japanese because that's where's this game was made. But other then that's this game was a definite buy, very happy I spent my money on this.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Amazing This game isn't really like a regular Resident Evil game, its basically what the Silent Hills game was like before it was cancelled.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Back to the games roots for sure. interesting story and game areas that actually took thought to put together. Unlike the franchises most recent titles. Turn off the lights and turn the sound up. Surround sound is a big plus. the sounds and sights in this game make for a more enjoyable experience. With surround, you can hear better where the enemies are coming from. The weapons in the game are pretty sweet with the exception of one that is only really useful during one part of the game which lasted about two hours and you end up collecting a ton of ammo for it and not using it. the enemies are challenging especially if you're trying to conserve ammo. There are just little peon enemies really that are one shoters. The boss fights are fun and thought out. The puzzles are fun also and not too challenging. especially if you don't run through the game and take your time to explore and do what ill call the side quests to avoid any spoilers. Side quests are also fun and have meaning to the game as a whole. All in all I would say buy this game, its so much better than anything that has been put out recently. Play it before Horizon comes out.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from It's Ok I Guess I was pretty disappointed in this game. At the very best it's ok. The best thing about this game is that is does a decent job at being somewhat scary. I can't get into it like I do other Games including other Resident evil games. I'd consider selling it if I didn't need it to complete my Resident Evil collection. The replay value of this game is terrible. It did remind me of a fun horror movie such as Texas Chainsaw Massacre or House of 1000 corpses, especially at the beginning. Thats The main thing I liked.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Fresh take on the series I'm a huge RE fan, and have played every game to date, even all the side ones. After the RE6 disappointment, this game brings back hope to the franchise once again. With that said, it is very different from all the other RE games, there are glimmers here and there of throwbacks to old games, but that is about it. The graphics, cut scenes, and environments are all top notch. The sound is great. There are a lack of different overall enemies, compared to what we've seen in some other RE games, but what they did, does fit this games story line. There is plenty of creepiness, creaks, and jump scares for fans too. I'm happy with what developers created, and think most will be happy with the game. Since it had drastic changes, I think it appeals to avid fans, and even those who have never played the series, or weren't a fan of the earlier play style. For me, this is a win all the way, and makes me excited for what they could do with this format down the road. Maybe something, a little more open world, like RE4 but in the new format. I don't know about replay ability, due to the length of the game, and some other factors, but most RE games you go through, and don't play for a while again anyway.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Worth It Bought the VR system for this game. not yet playing RE7 or any VR i was very skeptical and worried i was wasting money. i can say if you buy RE7 and play it in VR you wont have any disappointment its one of the best gaming experiences ive ever had. my only complaint is i wish that the RE series would go back to its roots throw you in a mansion full of monsters and an engaing story with the characters we know and love. Im only 2 hours into this game but i don't really have to much of a care for the characters but i do wanna know where the story is heading. Capcom tried something new with this game and i do think it worked. i give it 8/10 for VR for outside of VR i give 6/10. playing this game outside VR is a little bland and just your run of the mill horror game stil enjoyable but your left wanting more.
