Rated 3 out of 5 by from Its fun but the interest falls. The game is fun and has things to unlock such as more maps and an Amibo training system yet after a while the game play starts getting old. The higher level opponents are easy for a extremely causal player that I am. This leaves the game lacking a hardness the you would expect from ace level coms. This is what bothered me the most. The game play and graphics are good.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Rushed Games Never Bring Happiness As a massive Mario fan, I have loved the Mario Tennis since my childhood, from the N64 to GameCube, with the latter being the "Numero Uno" in my book. The 3DS entry had disappointed me and had dimmed down my love for the series then, but with the release of the Wii U entry, my love for the series had forever vanished. Mario Tennis: Ultra Smash is a tennis game, in which Mario and his friends go out to the court and serve up tennis matches from there on. The gameplay is more fluent and amazing and the graphics are some of the best and showcase what the Wii U is capable of, but other than these goodies that make Ultra Smash look amazing...that's literally all the good things the game has going for it. There are barely any modes and content available to keep you going (I unlocked everything in two days before taking the game back) as what you see on the main menu is what you get, not to mention that most of the unlockables are rather too easy unlock. There are still different courts to choose from, but the fact that all the courts take place in the exact same stadium no longer makes them unique and as a result, it feels like you're playing on the exact same stage, regardless of whether you're playing on a clay or sand court. All the Mario Tennis games always had good music, but Ultra Smash's soundtrack just felt too generic from left to right as most of them relied on the same notes and instruments, and as a result I could barely remember its soundtrack fondly. There are many other things that I am disappointed in with this game, but they are just too much for me to list down that I wanted to keep my review as simple as possible. Bottom line: Ultra Smash has left me very disappointed after experiencing "everything" it had as it was a rushed title for the holiday season of 2015, which is something Nintendo and their developer would never usually do. I took it back after two days without a doubt in mind and afterwards, I had decided to stick to these games below until Mario Tennis becomes great again:

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Game didn't work I sent this to my Great Grandson in Texas and my Grandson had to take it back to a Game Shop as the game would not work; so my grandson had to exchange it for another Mario Tennis game that worked. I am glad that you guy do do exchanges. Game Shop is good to do business with. Kind regards, Norma Gurss

Rated 5 out of 5 by from THIS GAME IS FANTASTIC! This game had EVERYTHING I wanted and more! It has an excellent game-play, quite a few characters to choose from and unlock, and lots of stages and modes to choose from! This game WON'T let you down, and I think this Mario Tennis is the best of its series so far! Plus, it has Rosalina!!!
