Rated 5 out of 5 by from Definitely a great alternative to ps4! Don't get me wrong i have owned a ps4 in the past but this is beyond amazing value. For $400 you get a better console and 2tb of HDD space and with current gen games taking up so much space, this is welcomed. There had never been a better time to own an Xbox one! They are so muchcheaper compared to how they used to be. Xbox has some great exclusives such as Forza, Gears Of War, and Halo. Xbox live is one of the most reliable gaming networks and you get so much value for the $60 that you pay yearly such as free games every month and great deals on games for gold members. And for those of you raving about the ps4 pro, Xbox's Project SCORPIO is going to be even more powerful and provide better 4k support when it releases next year. Seriously, it's never been a better time to own an Xbox and play along with the rest of the Xbox community!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I LOVE IT! I've had an Xbox One, Xbox One Elite, and now the Xbox One S. Between the original and the Elite, I honestly hardly noticed anything except the upgraded memory capacity. Upon testing my Xbox One S, there is ZERO CONTEST between my Xbox One S and the Elite. With both consoles hardwired into ethernet cable and running the same game (XBL store not disc)---the Xbox One S constantly loads dynamic content faster and more clearly than the Xbox One Elite. If you don't max out the graphics on the original Xbox One with the games you play, don't spend the money. If you're like me, and you constantly find yourself in insane places in your game and want to quit hitting that graphics "wall" every time s--t hits the fan, you'll appreciate the beautiful graphics this Xbox has to offer. PS: Microsoft under-hyped the Xbox One S, and told it's community that the S isn't more powerful than the Original. My side-by-side proved it's not only far superior to the original, but puts the Elite to shame as well. I'm excited to get my hands on Scorpio next winter.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from This console is beautiful I've seen all the video pre views and reviews about how this console is for anyone with a 4k hdr tv, for anyone who hasn't bought an Xbox one yet and so forth. I dont have a 4k hdr tv(yet, will get one during black Friday) i just bought my 1st Xbox one 2 500 gig in February but yet i bought my Xbox One S on day 1 launch, my reason are as follows... 1. Its beautiful its a classy sleek good looking console that im proud to show off in my entertainment center 2. the 2 terabytes of storage is a huge selling point for me since i download almost all my games 3. its an xbox one meaning i had a 360 and almost all the games that ive paid for as downloads both full retail and live arcade games are available for me to play via backwards compatibility 4. new controller blutooth (im still buying the design lab custom colors later) 5. i will buy evntually a 4k hdr tv 6. i hate waiting Scorpio is far away and if i do decide to get one i'll get more for this console next year November that i will do for the fat XB1 7. just because i can i work hard for my money and i got all my bills and responsibilities in check so why not i wanted it and Microsoft did not let me down this console is amazing. love it

Rated 4 out of 5 by from What the Original Should Have Been The Xbox One S is great, and is what the original console should have been. I had the original as well, and love the fact that this new one has UHD capability, and the console has once again taken over as being my media center over my PS4. The new controller is great, and games look sharp upscaled. I highly recommend this to anyone who has a UHD tv.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Two thunbs up Console is small and compact. Runs very quietly and smoothly. Great ventilation, stays cool. Controller seems slightly lighter than the first xbox one controller and also a bit more solid. Grips better in hands. Very simple but clean and stylish console design. Better range on controller. Also connects a bit quicker. Collects very little dust and fingerprints. Just love this system

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great console for the price I bought this console for myself even though I had the Xbox One original version because I'm that kind of person who needs every new console lol. Anyways it was a great console. 4k video streaming was excellent. Everything else I liked too. Just make sure you have a TV that supports HDR 10 and 4k 60fps to take advantage of the full capabilities of this console.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Microsoft to halt production on the 2TB S model I traded in my 500gb fat xbox one on the PowerUp Rewards Pro Day. I got $150 trade credit plus I think $28 for the Kinect (which is a dead device, trade it or sell it before its completely worthless). I picked my system up the day it released and was super impressed with the size. Practically the same size as the PS4. Not only do I love that there is no power brick anymore but the system runs incredibly cool, yes you read it right, cool. This system gets nowhere near as hot as even the latest PS4 model. And the stand that comes with this model is the best stand I have ever used for any console, ever (Its even Microsoft produced, not some 3rd party junk!) I just found out today, August 13, that Microsoft plans on halting production of the 2tb S model, why? I don't know. And they will only keep producing the 500gb and 1tb models. I know obviously that the 2tb Gears of War 4 bundle comes out in about a month and a half but that is a special edition system, that is meant to be limited production. I am very glad I traded in my old one and got the slim. Although I haven't had a chance to experience the 4k features due to me not owning any 4k televisions, I still like this system over my PS4 which is hard for me to admit because I have been a PS fanboy my whole life. So do yourself a favor and get this very pretty white 2tb system before everywhere sells out because since Microsoft plans on halting the 2tb white production, I believe that these 2tb systems will sell out this holiday season. Oh by the way, the controller still does not come with a play and charge kit which is kind of a bummer but I already had it so its no big deal to me.
