Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good game This game was released in Dec of 2015, I picked up a copy of this game in May of 2016 but then got side tracked by other games and have now, Nov of 2016, started playing through. The reason I'm putting this info in here is because while the game is fun it also has some issues that put a damper on the fun at times and also doesn't stand up well against other major releases as was the case when I tried to play it in May. The game has some serious lag issues. If you try to destroy a few things at once while in a big fire fight you will slow your frame-rate down substantially. Sometimes just getting into a large fire fight will slow your frame-rate down as well. The loading times are a bit up there as well but then again this game is doing quite a bit all at once so its somewhat understandable. This game is fun to just pick up and play for a bit and relax with. Achievements/Trophies come somewhat easily so this game is fun for those that hunt for Gamerscore or Trophies. Pros: -Fun game -Story is alright Cons: -Frame-rate can slow down during intense fire fights or multiple things being destroyed at once -Load times

Rated 5 out of 5 by from it is a action packed adventure the story is not the greatest, (infact it is one of the worst)but despite horrible story the rest of the game makes me believe it is truly an amazing game. I have played just cause 2 and to say the least it is a major improvement. the gameplay is a million times better and story is a little more compeling. but I don't care where your from we all know the best part of this game is definitely the gameplay ive spent hours just taking over provinces and blowing up bridges, tethering civilians to skyscrapers and jumping around on a pogo. all of this has made this game one of my favorites.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Bottom of the genre While this game surprised me with many different ideas and actions that I have not seen in other games; there are many things that bothered me greatly: 1. Load times. Fast travel. Load. Mission. Load. Cinematic. Load. Challenge. Load. Die. Load. Restart anything. Load. I would say around half of my game play time was spent loading. Especially when games like GTA 5 from years ago had half the load time. 2. Glitches. Everywhere, everything, every time. No matter the screen, location or action something will glitch. Your vehicle will disappear, you will disappear, traffic will disappear and also you will get locked into position in certain areas. For remedy of this problem see #1. 3. No cover. Zero cover options. Extra health, yes, but your character trots around like he's picking daisies. 4. No sprint. Only remedied by zip-line. Only a fat man jog, annoying. 5. Zip-line heavy. There is no sprint or cover so zipping around is the only way to travel. I see this as a direct rip-off of spider man. With gliding instead of webbing. 6. Repetition. Everything is the same in every base and every town. No variance, no subtleties, exactly the same. Only more enemies through progression. 7. Too easy. There are a few upgrades in enemies but still rather bland in my view. Bosses are a joke if you can call them bosses. After years of playing the GTA series I found 5 stars easy to maintain and lose at will. I could go on with other things but it is what it is. Not a great game. I believe that they strove for the biggest map and let everything else fall by the wayside. While at first this game was gripping and exciting, towards the end the high amount of repetition(i.e. around 30 wing suit runs, with no parachute runs at all) gets old in locations and challenges alike. All in all this a good time killer game. Lots to do, giant area. I'm glad I didn't buy this new. But for a used price it was a good deal. Low replay, high entertainment for short while. I wouldn't buy the next one without proof of improvement. Worth a play, but definitely not a reserved LE material.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Fun gameplay, bad optimization This game is so fun to play, and I would have given it 10/10 if it wasn't for the AWFUL framerate that is a constant problem. Unless you have a beast of a PC this game will drop from 30 to 20 FPS from one rocket on consoles.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from It's just awesome I could ramble for hours on all the things I love about just cause 3, but I will just say a few things, the story is great, the gameplay it smooth, the graphics are nice, the controls are nice, and EXPLOSIONS!!!!!!! It's just perfect .

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Beautiful island map Just cause might be a alternative to GTA V. But the story isn't as good as GTA V. Just cause 3 is good if you want a GTA like game with out all the ''content''. But one draw back is no online play. They have a thing were you try to bet other peoples records but that can only go so far. One thing that as a down side is the frames per second. When you get into fire fights and start to blow things up it stars to slightly lag a little. What is good about it is how after you bet the story mode you can take back areas where in GTA your kinda stuck after you beat the story mode and all the strangers and freaks thing but then you have online but that can get boring if you don't have friends to play with. GTA and just cause have transportation neck-neck though.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Not bad, but not great. I think it's a pretty cool game. But it gets a very repetitive feeling after the first section of the game is cleared. Definitely fun and worth the money in my opinion. But I don't see myself playing this again after I beat it. The game is vast and a lot of the stuff you have to do to liberate certain areas seems trivial and time consuming. It is good for a blow em up shoot em up game. But if you're looking for an amazing story look elsewhere.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Improves upon the 2nd, Just Cause I played the 2nd game, and enjoyed it. The wing suit is a great new feature to an already solid gameplay system. The missions and gameplay throw you into the Chaos right off the bat and if you beat challenges, you can improve your arsenal (like more grenades, braking features on your wing suit or turbo on vehicles, etc). It's pretty fun to compete with other players for top scores or various challenges. The story keeps you moving forward - nothing spectacular, but you are free to do whatever early on. Graphics are nice for next gen open world. Pretty setting, but the ocean (also pretty) is plain under water. Don't expect Assassin's Creed 4, and I understand the focus is elsewhere. This is a decent sized world that will take a long time to travel by boat alone, let alone driving the many islands. This game is a blast, and tethering never gets old!
