Rated 2 out of 5 by from It's... Skyrim I decided to check this "Remastered" version out on my XBOne. In a nut shell, it's the same as the 2011 original game with all the DLC content and the ability to use mods. The graphic upgrade is slightly noticeable but, you get to the point where you don't even notice the "dynamic god rays" and "super-duper detail distance draw" or whatever was listed in the enhancements. It's really a ploy to get you spend anywhere from $44 used to $60 new on a game you have already played. I'll admit, having the DLC and not having to reload/buy them again was ok and maybe grounds for a debate on the game's price, but not enough for me to run to the store and buy it outright. If you've played the game before in it's entirety, including all the DLC, save your money and maybe rent it. If you haven't been on the Skyrim bandwagon in the last 6 years and love open world RPG, then this game is one of the best if not THE best RPGs on the planet (minus some glitches/bugs).

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Epic Literally I was skeptical on if I would like this game. But since I enjoyed Fallout 4 so much I decided to give this a try and so I got it for Christmas and all I can say is I can't put it down it's literally the best game I've ever played!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great game, lackluster remaster. Great game, lackluster remaster. The remaster doesn't do much to help the base game, and it's not worth the $60. Get it on sale, or if you have never played the game before.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Good, but not great. Skyrim is a fun rpg game that is easy to sink hundreds of hours into, no matter how hardcore of a gamer you are. When it comes to the Special edition, i would say it is a good game, but when looking at the big picture, it is quite mediocre. Skyrim was a ground breaking game that brought a lot to the table when it was released back in 2011. I was ecstatic when i heard they were going to remaster it. However upon playing the game, i find it ws not worth the buy. It is simply skyrim with slightly upgraded graphics (which still are not that impressive). But skyrims main selling point wasnt graphics, it was gameplay. which is exactly what this game has. and when i say exactly, i mean it. nothing was changed from the original skyrim. INCLUDING the bugs and glitches and missed opportunities. Also, as im sure youve heard, somehow the sound quality actually became worse in the special edition. The game itself is good, however, and if you didnt play skyrim before, pick up the special edition instead of the base game. But if you already have skyrim, dont bother with this game. the only advantage it has over the original skyrim is the ability to get mods on console. So if you really want those console mods, then get the game but if not stay with the original.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from The Greatness I Remember And More AMAZING, bringing back the game that i wasted countless hours on and making it even better. the mod feature adds so much content that i can choose and often cant finish, even better than the original with the graphics boost, mods, and other bug fixes. overall still my favorite game of all time, id recommend this to anyone who loves endless things to do.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Amazing AMAZING. Like JFC I had the xbox 360 version and wanted this one so I could have it my two different residences. It's still amazing. I've been finding places I've never seen before. Beautiful graphics.
