It's way faster. But if you must leave your card at home, you can give your phone number or email address to an associate and they'll look up your info. Just be ready to show a second form of ID. And no, you can't bring in your girlfriend or boyfriend to vouch for you.
Just go to any participating GameStop storeand tell an associate that your dog ate it. They'll feel sorry for your lack of imagination and look up your account using your email address or phone number. You'll still be able to get all your benefits.
Only if you've been clinically diagnosed with multiple personalities. And each personality has its own email address.
PowerUp Rewards is available at all U.S. GameStop locations, and points can be scored for purchases in store and on GameStop.com.
Easy. Once you pick up your membership card in the store, go to PowerUpRewards.com and follow the activation steps. You better do it right away, because you must be activated or you won't be able to redeem points for rewards.
No. No. A thousand times no! You must activate your membership online at PowerUpRewards.com before you can redeem points for rewards.
What, are you nuts? We can't imagine why you'd want to cancel a free membership that gives you all this stuff. But you can at any time by notifying GameStop Customer Service by snail mail, email or telephone.
No. And be careful. Once you cancel an account, all your earned points are forfeited. Although, you can sign up again and receive a different membership number.
Chillax. We won't be spamming you. And we don't sell email addresses either. We need a valid email address to be able to look up your information in the store and to deliver PowerUp Rewards news, exclusive offers, invitations and more.
No can do. Email is the only way you can get PowerUp Rewards news, exclusive offers, invitations and more. But you can set your communication preferences in your account.
That's OK. . . we can't keep track of everything either. Just ask a GameStop store associate to look you up by phone number and zip. You can also find it on your receipt given at time of enrollment.
We thought you'd never ask! You can purchase a PowerUp Rewards Pro membership, or upgrade from the free PowerUp Rewards program, at any participating GameStop store. Just fork over $14.99 (a small price to pay for all the stuff you get) and you're in!
PowerUp Rewards Pro members get more good stuff. All the benefits of the free program, but with bigger bonuses and other great stuff:
*Limited to one transaction per day.
**Appears in your account 24-48 hours after enrolling.
You're extra special. As a current Edge member, just bring in your current Edge card to a participating GameStop store and trade in for a PowerUp Rewards Pro membership card. Trade-in credit from one Edge card can be transferred to your new PowerUp Rewards Pro card, and benefits will extend. Easy, huh?
Absolutely nada. Your Game Informer subscription will not be affected. The expiration date on your PowerUp Rewards Pro membership will be the same as your current Edge membership.
You're not going to want to do that in a million years. But if you insist, you'll get a full refund within 7 days of purchasing your membership by returning your card to any participating GameStop store. Also, any bonus points earned for the purchase of the GameStop PowerUp Rewards Pro membership will be forfeited at that time.
Affirmative. Upon returning your PowerUp Rewards Pro membership card to a participating GameStop store, your membership will be cancelled. And you won't be getting all the bonuses anymore.
Sorry, no free rides dude. In the event a PowerUp Rewards Pro member does not pay to renew their membership after the 1-year period, their account will be downgraded to the free PowerUp Rewards program.
Don't sweat it. All accrued points and the expiration date of accrued points at time of downgrade will remain intact.
Nope. Points can't be scored on purchases made before joining GameStop PowerUp Rewards.
That's an easy one. Show your PowerUp Rewards card or give us your membership number when you make a purchase at a participating GameStop store, and you'll automatically score points for every $1 spent. This little chart breaks it down:
They won't be sitting around collecting dust. Points will make their way into your account within something like 24-48 hours after in-store purchase.
Sorry, dawg. No on both counts.
That would be . . .no. You do not score points for the amount of any reward certificates redeemed or discounts applied, nor for any amount tendered to a GameStop gift card (or other ineligible tender).
Sorry. No can do. No points are scored for the value of any taxes or shipping paid, nor are points scored on all or part of any transaction tendered to a GameStop gift card (or any other ineligible tender).
You're immediately taken hostage and forced to listen to Yanni CDs. OK, we made that up. Just call Customer Service at 1-877-676-GAME for assistance. . .and have your receipt handy.
Points scored for any items returned to the store are deducted from your account. This keeps some bozos from returning stuff just to scam us for points.
Nothing lasts forever dude. If there is no account activity or points from any source posted to a your account for one consecutive year (12 months), the account is subject to closure and termination, including forfeiture of all accrued points. “Activity” is defined as engaging in the program. Making a purchase, updating your Game Library, basically if you show us you're still using the program, points will be available.
Aww. . .how thoughtful of you to want to give your points away to a needy friend. But, you can't. Points are not transferable and may not be combined among GameStop PowerUp Rewards members.
Seek and ye shall find. Log on to the member website at PowerUpRewards.com and get what's coming to you.
As easy as sitting down (or lying down, hanging upside down or whatever other position you like) at your computer. Just log in at PowerUpRewards.com and select your awesome item from the member reward catalog. Oh, make sure you have enough points, obvs.
If you're redeeming points for a merchandise reward, you'll be asked to provide a mailing address and your reward will arrive in 4 – 6 weeks.
If you're redeeming an electronic certificate you'll get an email confirmation that directs you to go get your printable one-time-use certificate from your member dashboard at PowerUpRewards.com. Print it out, take it to the store, enjoy your reward!
Partner certificates will come with their own redemption instructions.
You've got a cool 60 days from date of issue. So don't put it in a drawer and forget about it. Get to GameStop and let's do this thing!
Um, no. Even if it's your best friend. Certificates are not transferable and may not be combined among PowerUp Rewards members or conveyed by any means to anyone.
Nope, there's no minimum required. But if your total purchase adds up to less than the value of your rewards certificate, you won't get change or store credit for the difference. In other words, it pays to get something REALLY good.
Seriously? This is valuable currency. Staple it to your shirt if you have to, but GameStop is not responsible for any reward certificates that have been lost or stolen. And you don't want to let them expire, either. Expired certificates will not be re-instated nor can you ever get those lost points back. EVER.
Not so often that your head will explode. It's more like periodic electronic activity statements. You can always check out your account by logging into PowerUpRewards.com.
Check out your account activity online at any time by logging into PowerUpRewards.com. Or see an abbreviated version on the in-store kiosk.
