From Myst to the popularity of tablet games like The Room, digital puzzles have stepped it up. But there's something rewarding about manually manipulating a puzzle to its solution. The proof that physical puzzles haven't gone the way of the dodo is here. This little sphere contains a really cool three-dimensional maze with a ball bearing inside. Your job is to get the little ball inside the ball from one end of the maze to the other.
You've got to rotate the A-Maze-Ball Maze Game in 3D to get our old friend gravity to pull the ball bearing around corners and along walls to get from end to end. And just like the three bears gave Goldilocks, we're giving you three choices on the theory that one of them will be just right for you. There's an easy one (red), a medium-level difficulty (orange), and a hard one (blue).
We tested it on ourselves, and found that even the most technically-savvy and hardened gamers in our midst were significantly distracted by this little ball of fun. So don't let folks bring it to class or meetings.
